Hello, my name is Andres, Leesh is my name in my Mayan Tzutujil language. I have been working as a Spanish teacher since 2015, I have met many people from around the world, with whom I have worked for 10 hours to years! 

After all this, I have decided to start this blog to post information on how to improve your Spanish.

THE PAST IN SPANISH - Past Simple (2-4)

Hola, soy Leesh, tu profesor de español. How has everything been?  So, in this post, I will explain to you how the second form of the past tense in Spanish works, the Past Simple. As I had explained here  THE PAST IN SPANISH - Perfect tense (1-4)  in Spanish there are four ways to use the preterite in Spanish. Let's go for the second. In short words, the simple past is used to express events that were completed in the past. Events, whose time context, no longer have any relationship with the present. Before learning the verb conjugation, let's see some examples of how this new form works: La semana pasada visité a mi abuelo, él tiene una hermosa casa cerca del lago. - Last week I visited my grandfather, he has a beautiful house near the lake.
